Sammanfattning: Social media is used actively in today's society and the development is expeditious. Even more users join in and subscribe to all the different platforms that today's internet usage seems to circle around and accordingly it becomes an attractive place for companies to publish material with hope in getting an increased spread. This work has attended relevant concepts and their meaning so that companies can experience successful marketing through social media. The research has been circling the theory called Social Network Theory that has handled the communication within a specific network. A number of methods was used to examine experience and opinion amongst today's companies and how they stand for the continuous change that is happening on the market and amongst existing clients. The result was then presented with the belonging diskussion to determine how useful social media is within the company and if it has been beneficial to the business and the relationship to customers.
