Sammanfattning: As the public sector in Sweden has been prone to change since the 1980’s, so too have the demands and requirements for staff and workers in the organizations become stricter. The staff has to be able to adapt to different methods of work and organizational structures, and this has been the subject of an abundance of research. The purpose of this paper is to examine how the meaning of organizational change in the public sector is constructed in other social work-students’ papers. The main question I wanted to answer was in what ways these students constructed the meaning of organizational change for their papers. To achieve the constructed meaning, I analyzed five different students’ papers regarding organizational change in public sectors. The results of this paper show that there are multiple ways to construct meaning, the mains ones being through the language and choice of words, as well as the papers results and informants constituting what possibilities the author has to express this meaning.
