    Sammanfattning : This theoretical thesis employs critical discourse analysis to scrutinise the construction of video game addiction in Swedish press from 1991 to 2017, and examines its potential contribution to a moral panic.     Sammanfattning : The self-evident contradictory governance ideology of the Chinese Communist Party leads to urban-born young middle-class Chinese women struggling between seeking one’s own path with the discourse of ‘individualism’ under the neoliberal market economy and conforming to the traditional role in the family of patriarchal culture.     Sammanfattning : From empirical material collected through semi-structured interviews, this master’s thesis is conducting a critical discourse analysis, investigating to what extent discoursive structures entails discriminatory treatments of academically skilled refugees in the integration process of entering the Danish and Swedish labor market.
