    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study is to analyse the relationship between the experience of belonging to a discriminated group and the tendency to feel trust in other people and society. The two main questions the study seeks to answer are: • What significance does the experience of belonging to a discriminated group have for the inclination to feel trust in others and in society within the 18 EU countries? • To what extent can the impact of social success, including the experience of belonging to a discriminated group, explain the variations in levels of trust in others and in society within the 18 EU countries?
