  1. 1. HRTF-Based Sound Field Interpolation in the Presence of a Human Head

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematisk statistik

    Författare :Anton Björkman; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Sound field interpolation; HRTF; head-related transfer function; kernel ridge regression; in-ear sound estimate; Helmholtz equation; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : There are different ways of evaluating the sound pressure in a sound field. Doing so is an essential part of several applications, such as active sound control and voice analysis. LÄS MER

  2. 2. dBud Sleep : A study of user needs and ergonomic shapes to design an earbud adapted for sleep

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)

    Författare :Oskar Blom; Jonna Wester; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : This report presents a master’s thesis in Integrated Product Design at KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, on behalf of the company Earlabs. The goal of the project was to create a pair of earbuds that facilitate the user’s sleep. LÄS MER

  3. 3. A Numerical Approach for Wind Tunnel Noise Control

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Marcus Wallenberg Laboratoriet MWL

    Författare :Hampus Dall; Robert Palm; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Technical Acoustics; ANC; Active Noise Control; Superposition; Wind Tunnel; Wingsuit; Indoor Wingsuit; Higher Order Modal Acoustic Field Beyond Plane Wave Region; Numerical Acoustic Simulations; Teknisk Akustik; Aktiv Brusreducering; Superposition; Vindtunnel; Flygning med ekorrdräkt inomhus; Högre ordningens akustisk modanalys bortom planvågsteori; Numeriska akustiska simuleringar;

    Sammanfattning : A wind tunnel from the 1950s located in Bromma, Stockholm, once used for military research is today used for commercial activities. Today the tunnel is used for indoor wingsuit flight and the facility has an interest in reducing the overall noise generated by the tunnel. Acoustic measurements indicate noise problems in the 50 Hz range. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Online Secondary Path Modelling for Spatial Active Noise Control with Arbitrarily Spaced Arrays

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Jesper Brunnström; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Active noise control; Secondary path modelling; Spatial; Adaptive filter; Multichannel; Least mean squares; Aktiv brusreducering; Sekundärvägsmodellering; Spatial; Adaptiv Filtrering; Multikanal; Minsta kvadratmetoden;

    Sammanfattning : In this work we explore online secondary path modelling (SPM) in the context of spatial active noise control (ANC). Specifically, we are interested in the reduction of broadband noise over a three-dimensional region, without restrictions on microphone and loudspeaker array placement. LÄS MER
