  1. 6. Dental histology of Cretaceous mosasaurs (Reptilia, Squamata) : incremental growth lines in dentine and implications for tooth replacement

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Johan Gren; [2011]
    Nyckelord :dental histology; mosasaurs; Cretaceous tetrapods; incremental lines; von Ebner; Andresen; tooth replacement; tandhistologi; mosasaurier; kretaceiska tetrapoder; tillväxtlinjer; tandersättning; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The dentine of teeth from five genera of mosasaurs [i.e., Clidastes, Halisaurus, Dollosaurus (Prognathodon),cf. Platecarpus, and Tylosaurus] and a Mesozoic crocodylian (Aigialosuchus) from the Campanian of the Kristianstad Basin, southernmost Sweden, displays two types of incremental growth lines; i. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Late Cretaceous coprolites from the Kristianstad Basin, southern Sweden

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Urban Månsby; [2009]
    Nyckelord :coprolites; Cretaceous; Kristianstad; Åsen; spiral; koproliter; krita; spiralformade; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Vertebrate coprolites from the Upper Cretaceous (Campanian) of the Åsen locality, Kristianstad Basin, southern Sweden, are described and illustrated. Their fecal origin was supported through chemical analyses revealing a calcium phosphate composition. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Belemniters stabila isotopsammansättning : paleomiljöns och diagenesens betydelse

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Carina Ljungberg; [2004]
    Nyckelord :isotoper; belemniter; klimat; paleotemperatur; krita; Kristianstadbassängen; Skåne; Sverige; oxygen; isotopes; belemnites; climate; palaeotemperature; Cretaceous; Kristianstad; Scania; Sweden; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Stable isotope compositions (δ18 0 and δ13 C) and cathodoluminescence characteristics were determined in 112 belemnite rostra, including Belemnellocamax grossouvrei, Belemnitella alpha, Belemnellocamax mammillatus, Belemnellocamax balsvikensis, Gonioteuthis quadrata scaniensis, Belemnitella mucronata and Belemnella lanceolata. The main aims were to determine palaeoenvironmental and diagenetic influences on the fossil tissue, and to discuss the marine palaeotemperatures during Late Cretaceous times. LÄS MER

  4. 9. En geokemisk studie av bergartsvariationen på Bullberget i västra Dalarna

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Anders Kjöllerström; [2000]
    Nyckelord :Central Scandinavian Dolerite Group CSDG ; epsilon-Nd; geochemistry; ratio correlation; wallrock assimilation; two-component mixing; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The Bullberget hill is situated in the Lima parish of the Dalarna province in western Sweden. The major rock forming the hill is Öje basalt. This is cut by a dolerite sill belonging to the same generation as the Åsby dolerite, which is common in the province. The sill displays a continuos transition from a SiO2-content of 54% to 73%.
