    Sammanfattning : The Senegalese decision to brake off negotiations over a renewed fisheries agreement with the European Union in 2006 represents a puzzle since substantial economical gains are associated with an accord and because such agreements have been renewed with a certain degree of continuity in the past. In this thesis, it is argued that the Senegalese withdrawal can be understood as a response to solid domestic opposition to an eventual agreement. LÄS MER
