6. IMPROVING THE PERFORMANCE OF DCGAN ON SYNTHESIZING IMAGES WITH A DEEP NEURO-FUZZY NETWORK
Kandidat-uppsats, Mälardalens universitet/Akademin för innovation, design och teknikSammanfattning : Since mid to late 2010 image synthesizing using neural networks has become a trending research topic. And the framework mostly used for solving these tasks is the Generative adversarial network (GAN). GAN works by using two networks, a generator and a discriminator that trains and competes alongside each other. LÄS MER
7. DrumGAN - Adversarial synthesis of drum sounds
Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Statistiska institutionenSammanfattning : This paper faces the problem of audio synthesis with Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN), with an attempt to create novel, original high-quality samples of drums that could be used within the realm of music production. My results show that it is possible to create high-quality drum samples with architecture such as DCGAN (Deep Convolutional GAN) and that using causal and dilated convolutions is a viable approach, while not making clear if this approach is significantly better than the one of using standard convolutions. 8. Generating synthetic brain MR images using a hybrid combination of Noise-to-Image and Image-to-Image GANs
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Statistik och maskininlärningSammanfattning : Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) have attracted much attention because of their ability to learn high-dimensional, realistic data distributions. In the field of medical imaging, they can be used to augment the often small image sets available. LÄS MER
9. Real-time 3D cloud animations using DCGAN
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Institutionen för datavetenskapSammanfattning : Background. Previous studies in the area of video generation using generative adversarial networks have shown limitations in perceived naturalism of the generated images. A previously proposed method of rendering and simulating clouds serves as the base for this thesis. Objectives. LÄS MER
