    Sammanfattning : This research project represents a collaborative effort between E&C Consultants, an international energy procurement consultancy, and aims to address the increasing demand for guidance on scope 1 emissions reduction strategies expressed by their clients. From a procurement perspective, companies are actively seeking alternative commodities, such as biomethane or hydrogen, to substitute their natural gas consumption. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Exhaust system for hydrogen fuelled combustion engines: effect of high-water content on the SCR vanadium catalyst

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :Cecilia Zambelli; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Transportation represents a key secot in the journey towards a greener future, and alternative solutions are needed to meet the decarbonaisation need. Hydrogen internal combustion engines could represent a solution in the short-term, allowing for emission reduction with limited modification to the already existing traditional combustion engines. 3. 8. The Operational Strategy Optimization of Distributed Energy System Based on MATLAB : A case study in Northeast China

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Yujun Han; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Distributed Energy System; CCHP; operational strategy; Distribuerat energisystem; CCHP; operativ strategi;

    Sammanfattning : China is the largest energy consumer worldwide, with a fast-growing rate. But the energy and environmental problems brought by its unbalanced energy structure and low energy efficiency restrict the sustainable development of China. The Distributed Energy System (DES) is one of the internationally recognized solutions to the problems. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Analysing the effects of 24/7 Carbon-free Energy procurement strategies on the electricity system : Case Study of commercial and industrial sector in the Netherlands

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)

    Författare :NINA JABŁOŃSKA; [2023]
    Nyckelord :24 7 Carbon-free Energy; carbon accounting; corporate electricity procurement; Energy Attribute Certificates; hourly matching; the Netherlands.; 24 7 kolfri energi; koldioxidredovisning; företagens elupphandling; energiattributcertifikat; timmatchning; Nederländerna.;

    Sammanfattning : Considering the growing importance of the electricity sector in the worldwide decarbonisation efforts, as well as large volumes of energy consumed by the commercial and industrial (C&I) sector, corporate power procurement is found to be a significant contributor to building a net zero economy. Within this topic, hourly matching of carbon-free electricity supply with demand, or 24/7 Carbon-free Energy (24/7 CFE), is identified as a next-generation power procurement framework, with growing interest from a wide range of stakeholders in the energy sector and benefits backed by robust research evidence. 5. 10. Utilization of Biomethane in Decarbonising India´s Energy Mix

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Energiteknik

    Författare :Niraj Ravindra Kunkulol; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Anaerobic digestion; biogas; biomethane; membrane filtration; pressure swing adsorption; Anaerob rötning; biogas; biometan; membranfiltrering; trycksvängadsorption;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis investigates the potential of biomethane production in India, the impact of its integration into the energy mix, and the corresponding Greenhouse Gases (GHG) emission and potential reduction. India, with its huge population and being an agriculturally rich country, produces gigantic amounts of biodegradable waste from various sources such as Municipal Solid Waste (MSW),agricultural waste, animal husbandry, sugar industry, etc. LÄS MER
