1. TEMPERATURE MODELLING OF GEAR MESH
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : Temperature control is an essential aspect of gear design. Continuous research is going on to improve the efficiency of gear systems. Power losses or energy losses in these systems typically manifest themselves as increased temperatures and thus reducing the lifetime and overall performance of the system. LÄS MER
2. Hålplantryck i skruvförband
3. Product Development and Finite Element Analysis of Polyurethane Press Shoe : Produktutveckling och finit element analys av press-sko i polyuretan
Master-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Fakulteten för hälsa, natur- och teknikvetenskap (from 2013)Sammanfattning : The press-section of a paper machine holds several different types of press rolls. One of the many press roll variants is the Valmet produced press roll, ViscoNip. This press roll utilizes an extended nip in order to increase the amount of water removed. LÄS MER
4. Studying American Football with Finite Element Analysis and Video Analysis
Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Avd.)Sammanfattning : Head injuries in American football is a serious issue regarding player health which is highly affected by velocity and its direction. Impact location can affect the severity of the head injury in both helmet-to-helmet impacts and helmet-to-ground impacts hence the understanding of concussive outcome from velocities and impact locations must be improved. 5. Finite-element analysis of an induction motor with inter-turn short-circuit faults
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : Stator inter-turn short circuit (ITSC) faults are one of the common sources for induction machine failure affecting their reliable operation. In this thesis, a finite element (FE) model is developed to study the ITSC fault. The FE model is developed for a prototype induction machine that has the potential to emulate an ITSC fault in the stator. LÄS MER
