  1. 1. Modellering av torkstress på vegetation i BlåGrönGråa-system i modelleringsverktyget MIKE SHE

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Arvid Backlund; [2022]
    Nyckelord :BlueGreenGray-system; stormwater; blue-green stormwater management; city trees; drought; MIKE SHE; BlåGrönGråa-system; dagvatten; blå-grön dagvattenhantering; stadsträd; torka; MIKE SHE;

    Sammanfattning : Huvudsyftet med den här studien var att undersöka vilka parametrar som har störst inverkan på trädens vattentillgång i BlåGrönGråa-system (BGG-system), utvecklat av Edge, och vilka förbättringar som kan göras för att vegetationen bättre ska klara av torka. Ett annat mål med denna studie var attundersöka hur väl det går att efterlikna och simulera BGG-system i modelleringsverktyget MIKESHE, utvecklad av Danish Hydraulic Institute (DHI). LÄS MER

  2. 2. Evaluating locations for subsurface dams : Case study on Storsudret, Gotland

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Karl Engström; Maximilian Skoglund Lartell; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Subsurface dams; MIKE SHE; groundwater; groundwater modelling; water resource management; resistivity measurements; hydrogeology; Grundvattendammar; MIKE SHE; grundvatten; hydrogeologi; grundvattenmodellering; vattenresurshantering; resistivitetsmätningar; hydrogeologi;

    Sammanfattning : Due to precipitation poor winters and springs and over-exploitation of groundwater reserves during the summer months as a consequence of tourism, the island of Gotland has experienced fresh water shortages during recent years which has led to harsh restrictions in the use of municipal water. In order to find a solution to the islands fresh water problems, the region of Gotland and the Swedish Environmental Institute (IVL) have initiated a project in which the southernmost part of Gotland, Storsudret, will be used as a test site for new methods of sustainable freshwater storage and extraction methods. 3. 3. Evaluating the potential of artificial infiltration to increase groundwater storage using MIKE SHE : A case study in northern Storsudret, Gotland

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Sara Schmidt; Per Uppsäll; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Groundwater modelling; hydrogeology; aquifer assessment; freshwater resources;

    Sammanfattning : The island of Gotland, Sweden, is struggling with supplying the population with freshwater during summers. At the same time as the demand increases during these months, the warm weather and geological conditions prevent sufficient volumes of groundwater to recharge. LÄS MER

  4. 4. The role of groundwater in the inundation of a river-connected floodplain : case study of the river Silverån in southeast Sweden

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Hållbar utveckling, miljövetenskap och teknik

    Författare :Stina Bång; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Groundwater flooding; Groundwater modeling; Flood modeling;

    Sammanfattning : Fluvial flooding has long been recognized as one of the most frequently occurring natural disasters worldwide, with consequences as large economic losses from damages on infrastructure and agriculture, as well as severe impacts on human health. A less known and explored type of flooding is groundwater flooding. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Sustainable Drainage Systems Assessment and Optimisation-A case study for Lussebäcken Catchment, Helsingborg

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Teknisk vattenresurslära

    Författare :Bernard Nsabimana; Néstor Utande Estallo; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Hydraulics; hydrology; Sustainable Drainage Systems; urban; Modeling; MIKE URBAN; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Increase of urbanization and climate change are one of the factors that have been highlighted to influence hydrography. This is resulting in an increase in peak flow within an urban watershed. Downstream flooding and increased pollution are the problems that arises. LÄS MER
