    Sammanfattning : This research aims to search for an underlying literary canon in the textbooks for the English 6 course in the Swedish upper secondary school. This essay also has the intention to find out whether three different curriculums affected the literary content of the textbooks and how the curriculums changed over time period of 30 years in relation to literature for the English 6 course.
