  1. 1. Start of a new design method for a competitive Small Modular Reactor (SMR) adaptable to future uses

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för teknikvetenskap (SCI)

    Författare :Baptiste Mazurié; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Requirement modelling; Cyber-physical systems; Small Modular Reactor SMR ; Systems Engineering; CRML;

    Sammanfattning : As cyber-physical systems become increasingly complex, the management and verification of requirements during design is essential. A new language called CRML (Common Requirement Modelling Language) has been created during the European EMBrACE project to formalize realistic dynamical requirements, but a method for representing these requirements and a framework for using them as a design aid must be defined to ease appropriation by engineers. 2. 2. Short-horizon Prediction of Indoor Temperature using Low-Order Thermal Networks : A case study of thermal models for heat-system control applications

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Jonas Cederberg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Lumped Parameter Thermal Network; Resistance-Capacitance model; Parameter estimation; Modelling of Dynamical Systems; Thermal modelling; Temperature Prediction; Termiskt nätverk med klumpade parametrar; Mostånds-kapacitans modell; Parameterestimering; Modellering av dynamiska system; Termisk modellering; Temperaturprediktion.;

    Sammanfattning : Optimizing and controlling the heating systems in buildings is one way to decrease their load on the power grid, as well as introduce load flexibility to be used in Demand Response (DR) applications. A requirement in occupied buildings is that the thermal comfort of the residents is guaranteed, making the optimization of heating systems a constrained problem with respect to indoor temperature. 3. 3. Modelling and Investigation of Control of a Power Infrastructure Resource Management System for a Radio Base Station : A study on sustainable power management for ICT infrastructure.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Gustav Lenart; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Hybrid Dynamical Systems; Resource Management; Hybrid Automaton; Sustainable solutions for Wireless technology; Hybrid Dynamiska System; Resurshantering; Hybrid Automaton; Hållbara lösningar för trådlös teknologi;

    Sammanfattning : In order to minimize greenhouse gas emissions and operational cost related to the ICT-infrastructure the power management method of a Radio Base Station (RBS) or Base Transceiver Station (BTS) at Ericsson is studied and modelled. The major load demand at RBS’s are due to uplink and downlink data traffic. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Analysis and modelling of grooming behaviour of mice

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Fysik

    Författare :Wilhelm Sjöstedt; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Theoretical physics; Neuroscience; Embedded systems; Complex systems; Teoretisk fysik; Neurovetenskap; Inbyggda system; Komplexa system;

    Sammanfattning : Mapping dynamical motion to neural brain activity is one of many challenges in the field of neuroscience. Further knowledge in this area could provide useful insights in fields such as medical treatment of brain disorders. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Reduced Order Modelling using Dynamic Mode Decomposition and Koopman Spectral Analysis with Deep Learning

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Matematik LTH

    Författare :David Krantz; Olof Månsson; [2020]
    Nyckelord :non-linear dynamical systems; modal decomposition; Koopman operator theory; machine learning; data-driven analysis; Mathematics and Statistics;

    Sammanfattning : In the industry simulation models are commonly used in system development. These models can become complicated in order to capture the physical behaviour of the underlying dynamical system. A high-fidelity representation, which can result in long simulation times, is in some settings not strictly required. LÄS MER
