  1. 1. BORTTAGNING AV TRYCKKÄNSLIG TEJP PÅ PAPPER En studie över användningen av hydrogeler

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för kulturvård

    Författare :Amanda Nyagake Mwita; [2023-11-07]
    Nyckelord :Pressure-sensitive tape; agar-gel; hydrogel; nanogel; paper conservation;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to examine hydrogels practical efficiency in the removal of pressure-sensitive tapes on paper. The organic agar gel and synthetically produced Nanorestore Gel® PG5 Peggy Gel and Nanorestore Gel® High Water Retention are used in an experimental process upon removing three common pressure-sensitive tapes (PTSs) on paper. 2. 2. EFFECTS OF COMMERCIAL NANO-LIME PRODUCTS AS A CONSOLIDATION METHOD FOR WALL PAINTINGS An experimental case study

    Författare :Hannah Petrini; [2023-11-07]
    Nyckelord :wall paintings; Dalby Church; nano-lime; consolidation; Nanorestore®; Nanorestore Plus®; conservation of wall paintings;

    Sammanfattning : Some of the main deterioration problems concerning wall paintings is structural degradation of the wall painting and the flaking of the painted layer. Consolidation, both in the form of reinforcement of the rendering of the wall painting and the re-adherence of a flaking paint layer to the underlying substrate, have thus been an important part of conservation efforts concerning wall paintings.
