    Sammanfattning : Abstract The struggle for Swedish foreign policy – How Swedish foreign policy was defined and established between the years 1867–1905 as a result of prevailing political power-sharing   AIMS – The aim of this master thesis is to problematize how the Swedish foreign policy was defined politically in the context of the existing constitutional power-sharing model between the bicameral parliament and the ruling monarch.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this case study is to examine differences in the political framing of immigration questions by the Danish People’s Party and the Sweden Democrats in relation to religious sentiments. The material analysed consists of speeches in records from Danish and Swedish parliamentary debates, and through textual analysis it is found that variations exists regarding how religion is used to highlight homogeneity and heterogeneity.     Sammanfattning : On the night of November 13, 2015, after the attacks perpetrated by the so-called Islamic State against France in Paris and Saint-Denis, President François Hollande decreed the state of emergency.
