6. Robot Vacuum cleaner
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för industriell teknik och management (ITM)Sammanfattning : Although a robot vacuum cleaner is a well-known product, development is still interesting. Better working sensors and more sophisticated algorithms and sensors are used in new cleaners. LÄS MER
7. IoT Offensive Security Penetration Testing : Hacking a Smart Robot Vacuum Cleaner
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : IoT devices can be found in almost any type of situation as the availability and viability of them has surged in the last decade with technological advancements. The purpose of this project is to investigate how secure these types of devices, in particular a robot vacuum cleaner, actually are if an ill intended actor tries to interfere with the device. 8. Exploration Strategies for Robotic Vacuum Cleaners
Master-uppsats, KTH/MekatronikSammanfattning : In this thesis, an exploration mode for the PUREi9 robotic vacuum cleaner is implemented. This exploration would provide information for optimizing the cleaning path beforehand, and would allow the robot to relocalize itself or the charger more easily in case it gets lost. LÄS MER
9. Registration algorithms formatching laser scans in robotics application
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : In this study, we compare different variations of the Iterative ClosestPoint (ICP) algorithm for the purpose of matching laser scans generatedby an indoor robot. The study is mainly focused on investigating maxi-mum difference in the viewpoint the algorithms can handle, and if it canbe used for robot-pose estimation by matching laser scan data generatedat different positions in a home. 10. Improving robotic vacuum cleaners : Minimising the time needed for complete dust removal
Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The purpose of this study was to examine the cleaning efficiency of an autonomous vacuum cleaner robot; namely, reducing the cleaning time needed in an empty room. To do this we explored how the path planning could be improved upon given access to a dust map that would allow for more sophisticated algorithms depending on the state of the room. LÄS MER
