  1. 6. Resultat av tjugofem års mätningar av Cs-137-halter i älg i Uppsala län

    Magister-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Robert Weimer; [2011]
    Nyckelord :cesium; älg; radioekologi; strålning; Tjernobylolyckan; älgkött; Heby;

    Sammanfattning : At the end of April 1986 reactor number 4 of the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl explod-ed and large amounts of radioactive particles were then released into the atmosphere due to both the explosion as well as the consecutive fire of the graphite core. A cloud of radioac-tivity was spread over the northern hemisphere, including Sweden, due to the prevailing wind directions. LÄS MER

  2. 7. 137Cesium i myrsamhällen i Gävleborgs län 24 årefter Tjernobylolyckan

    Kandidat-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Linnea Brandström ; [2010]
    Nyckelord :radioekologi; myror; myrstackar; stråldos; cesium-137; Gävle; Tjernobylolyckan;

    Sammanfattning : 24 years have passed since the Chernobyl accident when radionuclides were spread over largeareas of Europe, including the Scandinavian countries. Today, measurable activities of 137Csare still observed in many Swedish ecosystems. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Migration of radiocaesium in six Swedish pasture soils after the Chernobyl accident : a comparison with earlier studies 1987-2005

    L3-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Henning Persson; [2008]
    Nyckelord :radiocaesium; 137Cs; migration; migration depth; soil-plant transfer; Chernobyl fallout; field study; pasture soils;

    Sammanfattning : This study comprises six pasture soils in central and northern Sweden which were strongly affected by the Chernobyl fallout in 1986. The aim of the study was to investigate the vertical migration and plant uptake of radiocaesium as related to soil texture and other soil properties. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Recipientundersökning av Ensjön : Bedömning av sulfidmalmgruvan Enåsens eventuella påverkan på sjöns vattenkvalitet

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Gustav Enmark; [2007]
    Nyckelord :lake sediment; Cs-137-dating; heavy metals; remediation of mine waste;

    Sammanfattning : Ensåsengruvan is a mine situated within Ljusdals municipality in central Sweden. Themine was in use from 1984 to 1991 and has since been undergoing a remediation program. Mine tailings from sulfide rich ore is a potential environmental hazard due to its tendency to cause acid waters and heavy metal leakage. LÄS MER

  5. 10. Förändring av radiocesiumtillståndet i jordbruksgrödor i Gävleborgs, Västmanlands och Uppsala län efter Tjernobylolyckan samt en fallstudie med stallbalansberäkningar på en mjölkgård

    L3-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil Sciences

    Författare :Johanna Olsson; [2006]
    Nyckelord :137Cs; 40K; cesium; Tjernobylolyckan; kontaminerad jord; radioaktivt nedfall;

    Sammanfattning : Several radioactive nuclides were deposited in Sweden after the Chernobyl accident in 1986. The greatest attention was given to 137Cs because of its relative long physical half life of about 30 years. 137Cs will be present in nature for more than 100 years before it has vanished completely.
