  1. 6. Developing a portable, customizable, single-channel EEG device for homecare and validating it against a commercial EEG device

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Máté Károly Tóth; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Electroencephalography EEG ; Portable EEG; Single-channel EEG; Commercial EEG; Brain-machine interface; Prototype development; Elektroencefalografi EEG ; Bärbar EEG; Enkanaligt EEG; Kommersiellt EEG; Hjärna-maskin-gränssnitt; Prototyputveckling;

    Sammanfattning : There are several commercial electroencephalography (EEG) devices on the market; however, affordable devices are not versatile for diverse research applications. The purpose of this project was to investigate how to develop a low-cost, portable, single-channel EEG system for a research institute that could be used for neurofeedback-related applications in homecare. 2. 7. Quality Assurance of Recycled HDPE in the Plastic Packaging Industry

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Innovation

    Författare :Tora Abrahamsson; Juliana Kalling; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Thermoforming; Plastics; Recycling; Packaging Industry; HDPE; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The recycling of plastic has the potential to support circular material use, thus decreasing the need for virgin plastics. However, there is an existing issue with assuring quality of recycled plastic materials, causing finished products to perform with poorer properties and unexpected deviations. LÄS MER

  3. 8. 3D Knit fabrics : optimizing spacer knit fabrics for comfort and breathability in infant products

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Akademin för textil, teknik och ekonomi

    Författare :Julia Svensson; Hanna Halldorf; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Spacer fabric; knitting; warp knit; circular knit; textile testing; ProCad Warpknit; infant product; comfort; mechanical properties.;

    Sammanfattning : In this study we looked into an existing textile baby stroller seat and investigated whether there can be any advantage in changing the material to a spacer fabric from perspectives such as functionality, comfort, and sustainability. The subject of 3D knitting, and advanced knitting is being researched more and more because of its versatility in producing and changing parameters of knitted high quality products, but there is a lack of studies done on comfort for children when it comes to knitted spacer fabrics and not many studies have been done on spacer fabrics used for baby seats in strollers or other types of seats for children.
