11. Soft sensor application on lactate controlled fed-batch cultivation for monoclonal antibody production
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Teknisk biologi; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska högskolanSammanfattning : Monoclonal antibody producing cells are of great interest and used frequently in the field of biomedical research, diagnostics and therapy with increasing need for better systems to more efficiently produce antibodies at a lower costs. In this project three fed-batch cultivations of hybridoma cells (HB-8696) were cultured in a stirred tank reactor with the use of a soft sensor to monitor the lactate concentration and as well as a dielectric probe for biomass measurements. 12. Combined production of bioethanol and biogas from wheat straw
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Kemiteknik (CI)Sammanfattning : Currently the production cost of lignocellulosic ethanol is considered to be relatively high. Large fractions of the production cost come from the raw material and the energy consumed in the distillation. Therefore it is desirable to have a process that yields high concentration of ethanol and maximizes the utilization of the biomass. LÄS MER
13. Evaluation of on-line cell viability and L-lactate measurements in soft sensor for mammalian cell cultures
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Teknisk biologi; Linköpings universitet/Tekniska högskolanSammanfattning : Increasing demand on more effective cell culture reactors has driven optimization works to increase output of products. This has led to development of soft sensors that uses mathematical formulas to increase the available information for the parameters during runs. LÄS MER
14. Process development for the production of a therapeutic Affibody® Molecule
Master-uppsats, Institutionen för biologisk grundutbildningSammanfattning : Recently HER3, member of the epidermal growth factor receptor family (EGFR), has been found to play a crucial role in the development of resistance towards inhibitors that are given to patients with HER1- and HER2-driven cancers. As HER3 is up-regulated or over-activated in several types of human cancers, it is of outmost importance that new innovative drugs target its oncologic activity. LÄS MER
