6. Analysis of energy efficient heat and lighting systems in a subarctic greenhouse
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematikSammanfattning : This report studies a subarctic greenhouse located in Nikkala, Sweden called Nikkala handelsträdgård. Through a visit to the greenhouse coupled with the creation of two simulation models this study investigates the differences in energy demand with water-carried and air-carried heating systems, high pressure sodium lights and Light emitting diode lights and insulation in parts of the greenhouse without a active cultivation. 7. Tweetlight
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/IndustridesignSammanfattning : Desk lamps were originally designed for reading and craftsmanship. However, with the increasing prevalence of com- puter-based work and the rise of remote and hybrid work arrangements due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our needs for lighting have evolved. LÄS MER
8. Dynamic simulation and techno-economicevaluation of a seasonally insulated hybridgreenhouse concept for subarctic climates
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskap och matematikSammanfattning : The Swedish authority for social protection and preparedness, MSB, believes that the self-sufficiency of the country must be strengthened in order to be prepared for a crisis. Presently, Sweden is only 50% self-sufficientwhich is very low compared to its neighboring countries; and it is worse the further north you go. LÄS MER
9. Lighting Energy Savings in an Office Environment Simulating a Motion Detection Dimming System
Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)Sammanfattning : Shortages of electricity in larger cities in Sweden are becoming more common and might increase with an increased consumption. The thesis focuses on lights due to approximately 19 - 20% of the total electricity consumption coming from lights. LÄS MER
10. ODENSE Illuminating Storage : Matching user needs with smart textiles todevelop a multi-functional furniture concept
Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)Sammanfattning : This report presents the master thesis project carried out by Pierre Lindgren & Jacob Thagaard Hansen at KTH Royal Institute of technology for IKEA of Sweden. The project aimed to explore the capabilities of so-called smart textiles, as well as to establish clear user needs which these can meet. LÄS MER
