  1. 1. Design and construction of a reliable wireless power transfer system for an embedded device : With emphasis on industrial applications

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Dhruvi Ajit Shukla; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Wireless Power Transfer WPT ; ferrites; Litz wire; skin effect; proximity effect; electromagnetic induction; electromagnetic resonance; magnetic coupling; power efficiency; LC circuits; Trådlös kraftöverföring WPT ; ferrit; litz-tråd; hudeffekt; närhetseffekt; elektromagnetisk induktion; elektromagnetisk resonans; magnetisk koppling; effekteffektivitet; LC-kretsar;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis deals with wireless power transfer from an external source to embedded small devices (such as for conditioning monitoring, control etc.) located at different distances from the source. The proposed designs can be used in a variety of applications, including mobile phones, electric cars, unmanned aerial vehicles, robots, etc. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Magnetic Mineralogy of Nb-bearing Carbonatites from Oldoinyo Dili (Tanzania)

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Julia Frejd; [2021]
    Nyckelord :carbonatites; niobium; rare earth elements; Oldoinyo Dili; magnetic properties; karbonatiter; niob; rare earth elements; Oldoinyo Dili; magnetiska egenskaper;

    Sammanfattning : Niobium (Nb) and Rare Earth Elements (REE’s) have in recent years received considerable attention because of their importance to the modern technical industry, and more specifically the enhanced sustainability that comes with them. The main source for Nb and REE’s on Earth are carbonatites and associated alkaline silicate rocks. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Statistical Survey of Earth’s Magnetopause Using MMS Data : Pressure Balance, Total Pressure Contributions and Magnetopause Velocity near the Subsolar Point, Dawn- and Dusk Flanks

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Arthur Grönlund; [2021]
    Nyckelord :Magnetopause; Magnetosheath; Magnetosphere; Pressure balance; Total pressure contributions; Magnetopause velocity;

    Sammanfattning : The magnetopause is an important feature in near-Earth space, where the continuously emitted solar wind from the sun meets the magnetic field of the Earth. This boundary region between the so-called magnetosheath on the outside and magnetosphere on the inside is a constantly back-and-forth moving discontinuity upheld by a pressure balance on both sides, upon which an important process in mass and energy transportation through the universe called magnetic reconnection occurs. 4. 4. Smart Termometer

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för teknikvetenskaper

    Författare :Rutger Brattström; Karl Ekström; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Smart; Termometer;

    Sammanfattning : When cooking in the oven, knowing the temperature is crucial. However, regular thermometers are not suited for extended usage in the oven, and repeatedly opening the oven to measure quickly gets tiring and unpractical. Today, some ovens have integrated thermometers for easy access to temperature, displaying the temperature on the oven. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Magnetic grain-size analyses of Holocene sediments in the North Atlantic and Norwegian Sea : palaeoceanographic applications

    Magister-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Torbjörn Wall; [2004]
    Nyckelord :magnetic grain-size; magnetic hysteresis loops; Reykjanes Ridge; Vøring plateau; North Atlantic; Norwegian Sea; deep ocean currents; Holocene; magnetisk kornstorlek; magnetiska hysteresis-lopar; Reykjanesryggen; Vøringplatån; Nordatlanten; Norska havet; djuphavsströmmar; Holocen; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : High-resolution magnetic hysteresis measurements were carried out on three sediment cores, one from the North Atlantic and two from the Norwegian Sea. These measurements can be used to reconstruct changes in magnetic grain-size. Physical grain-size has been interpreted as a proxy for bottom current intensity (McCave et al. LÄS MER
