1. Automated High-Temperature Pressure Sensor Verification and Characterization
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för systemteknikSammanfattning : Gas turbines are widely used in power generation. Monitoring pressure variations in the combustion chamber allows for real-time assessment of the turbines performance, and can be used to optimize combustion processes, leading to reduced emissions. 2. Piezoelektrisk taktilåterkoppling i industriellabildskärmsdatorer
Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för elektroteknikSammanfattning : This project studies how tactile feedback can be implemented in existing CrossControl products,in this case the V1200-display computer. The main purpose of this function is to minimizedistraction for the user by implementing tactile feedback which creates the possibility for theuser to use the device without looking at the display. 3. Energy harvesting för sensorer i tung industriell miljö
Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Umeå universitet/Institutionen för tillämpad fysik och elektronikSammanfattning : Energy harvesting essentially involves extracting energy from processes that generate losses in theform of heat, vibrations, radiation, etc, and converting it into electrical energy that can be used topower sensors or other electrical systems. A customer of Knightec Örnsköldsvik wants to develop measurement equipment using sensors in a demanding industrial environment with rotating machines that does not allow wired energy or communication transfer. 4. Alignment of Image Sensor using Piezoelectric Crystals
Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknikSammanfattning : The use of piezoelectric crystals as a way to achieve automatic alignment of an image sensor in a camera was investigated in collaboration with Axis Communications AB. Piezoelectric crystals can be created into different configurations, piezoelectric stacks being one of the simpler ones. LÄS MER
5. Enhancing Sensing in Nanoscale: Investigation of Smart Nanomechanical Cantilever Array
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : In this report, a novel smart nanocantilever with self-deflection sensor using embedded piezo-resistor and self-actuation using integrated piezo-electric actuator is proposed, designed and simulated to enable highly sensitive label free biosensor and ultra-short cantilever probe for AFM applications. The smart nanocantilever comprises of a triangular Si3N4 nanocantilever (10µm long, 400nm width and 100nm thickness) connected to a multi-layer support structure (Si3N4 (100nm)/PZT (100nm)) having n-type silicon piezo resistor (7µm long ,2µm width and 20nm thickness) embedded in the Si3N4 layer in both the support structure and nanocantilever.
