  1. 1. Investigating organic fertilisers’ ability to mineralize during the first month of plant propagation

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)

    Författare :Sebastan Farkas; [2023]
    Nyckelord :organic fertilizers; sustainability; mineralisation; nitrification;

    Sammanfattning : There are many forms of organc fertilizers produced and sold in the EU, and it can be difficult to assess which ones are the best in regards of nutrient content and the rate of mineraliztion. Two separate trials were conducted to assess the mineralization rates of three different organic fertilizers, available for private customers, on the Swedish market. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Applicering av kväve i fast och flytande form : effekt på växttillgänglighet i åkermark

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Elizabeth Lövstaf; [2020]
    Nyckelord :fast gödselmedel; flytande gödselmedel; ammonium; nitrat; ammoniumfixering; regnsimulering;

    Sammanfattning : Kvävegödselmedel är det mest använda gödselmedlet i Sverige till följd av dess goda effekter på en grödas kvalité och avkastning. Tillförsel av kväve (N) görs vanligen i formerna nitrat (NO3-) och ammonium (NH4+), gärna i kombination med andra näringsämnen. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Nitrogen and phosphorus analysis in field cultivation of Pak choi : effect of two different compositions of fertilisers on plant and soil nutrient status

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Dept. of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)

    Författare :Joubin Haji Mirza Ali; [2020]
    Nyckelord :aged cattle manure; fertilisers; nitrogen; Pak choi; nutrient analysis; phosphorus; retting digest; waste materials;

    Sammanfattning : This pilot study was implemented to reflect the delivery and the plant availability of nitrogen and phosphorus in response to different compositions of fertilisers approved for organic farming in Sweden. The experimental approach was to compare the concentration of nitrogen and phosphorus in plant sap of Pak choi plants grown in soil treated with different organic waste such as aged cattle manure and a liquid retting digest derived from the biogas industry, with plants grown in soil treated with a blend of pelleted organic fertilisers derived from the Swedish slaughterhouse industry. 4. 4. Nutrient dynamics in pak choi cultivation fertilized with biogas digestate : effects of non-nutrient digestate elements and amendment with mineral nutrients

    Master-uppsats, SLU/Department of Biosystems and Technology (from 130101)

    Författare :Kristina Weimers; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Biogas digestate; pak choi; Brassica rapa; ssp. chinensis; ‘Joy Choi’; greenhouse; soilless production; peat-based growing media; biostimulants; nitrification; nutrient recovery efficiency; phosphorus; sulphur;

    Sammanfattning : Anaerobic digestion in biogas plants produces renewable energy and a residue which is rich in plant nutrients. This residue is called digestate. Today, these digestates are mostly spread directly onto fields as manure. LÄS MER

  5. 5. No effect of manganese coating or seed content : a study on germination and seedling establishment in Swedish winter wheat

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, SLU/Dept. of Soil and Environment

    Författare :Kerstin Wahlquist; [2019]
    Nyckelord :triticum aestivum; micronutrient; deficiency; seed treatment; plant development; seedling growth;

    Sammanfattning : Manganese (Mn) is a micronutrient where a great range and low concentrations have been recorded in winter wheat seeds in a Swedish survey called the Swedish environmental monitoring program on arable soils. A deficiency of Mn is common in cereals and may occur early in the season if the plant availability of Mn is low in the soil. LÄS MER
