Sammanfattning: Most organizations go through some kind of changing process during its lifetime. Unfortunately many of these changes fail due to different reasons. Larger changing processes cost companies lots of effort and there are many things to take into account during the process. In many cases a massive resistance among the employees is also present. This paper has focused on different reasons for resistance during a changing process and found out that communication is a main success factor, but also that the management team has an important role to fulfil in order to structure and organize the changing process. This study has proceeded as a case study where we have investigated employees, managers and consultants' experiences of changing processes and the resistance created by change management. In our study, we have worked along a qualitative method with an interpretive approach to create an understanding for the subject
