Separatism vs. Demokrati. Den nya maskuliniteten eller jourrörelsens backlash? En studie kring kvinnojourer och deras (il)legitimitet i dagens samhälle.

Sammanfattning: Sammanfattning: Efter den omtalade dokumentären "Könskriget" rördes det om i jourrörelsen. Bidrag hotades och jourernas legitimitet ifrågasatten. Utifrån den feministiska backlash som tycks ha sköljt in över det svenska samhällets feministiska organisationer var mitt syfte att undersöka hur de aktiva inom föreningarna SKR och ROKS uppfattar det samhälleliga motståndet samt att utreda hur de ser på separatism, manligt samarbete och maligt ansvar. Som empiririskt underlag ligger kvalitativa intervjuer och ett frågeformulär och som teoretiskt bas har jag lagt Maud Eduards och Robert Connell. Uppsatsen har även som syfte att bredda förståelsen för jourrörelsens situation. Den visar hur det samhälle vi lever i idag utesluter vissa människor som genom olika attribut eller erfarenheter inordnas i grupper. Genom normalisering, manipuleras vi in i ett visst tankesätt, ett demokratiskt tankesätt som varken är rättvist eller humant i ett hierarkiskt samnhälle. Om detta tankesätt inte problematiseras kommer motgångarna att fortsätta och ojämlikheter att florera. Detta är på så sätt en uppsats som är menad att förändra genom förståelse för våran omgivning och dess metoder och strukturer. Funds were threatened and the women's shelters legitimacy. With my starting-point in the backlash that seems to have overflowed the Swedish society's feminist organisations my purpose was to examine how active members of the associations SKR and ROKS understand the public resistance, as well as examine how they view separatism, male cooperation, and male responsibility. As my empirical basis I have used qualitative interviews and a questionnaire, and I have chosen Maud Eduards and Robert Connell for my theoretical foundation. This paper also has as a purpose to broeden the understanding of the women's shelter movement's situation. It shows how the society we live in today excludes certain people who, due to different attribuets or experiences, are arranged in groups. Through normalisation we are manipulated into a certain way of thinking, a democratic way of thinging that is neither just nor humane in a hierarchiv society. If this way of thinking is not critically examined the adversity will continue and inequalities will flourish. It is in this way a paper that is meant to achieve change through understanding our environment and it's methods and structures.
