Förbandsanda - En förutsättning att lyckas i rekryteringen?

Detta är en Kandidat-uppsats från Lunds universitet/Statsvetenskapliga institutionen

Sammanfattning: The Swedish armed forces have struggled with recruitment of military personnel for several years. Despite the facts that the military units have equal opportunities to succeed in recruitment, some regiments do better than others. This may be due to difference of the sub-cultures within each military unit. This study examines whether there is a connection between personnel supply and cultures in military units. The analysis is based upon Ingessons theory of sub-cultures from his dissertation The Politics of Combat (2016) and Bolman and Deals theories from Reframing Organizations: Artistry, Choice and Leadership (2015). With support from these studies the author has created an analysis model to answer the research question. Relevant material for this study was collected through text analysis of official documents and interviews with soldiers and conscripts. The analyses were conducted as a comparing analysis between Stockholm Marine Regiment and the Naval Base regiment, with a most similar design analyze. The result concludes that there is a probabilistic connection between personnel supply and subcultures in Military units.
