Based on previous research and data collection with the help of pupils in grade 8, the objective was to answer the following question; Do physical activity influence children's ability of concentration? The design for the data collection was based on a test of concentration called "Trail making test"/ TMT and a questionnaire aimed at the participants experience of concentration. The pupils who were randomly divided into a control group and an examination group, wrote the test on two occasions under similar conditions. Moreover, in order to compare the groups and to to receive answers to the question, the investigation group carried out physical activity before the second opportunity of test. Whence, the control group had sedentary activity instead. The main result shows a difference between the groups perceived concentration and the test results in time. On average, the participants in the examination group experienced more concentrated at the second measurement after the physical activity. The control group felt less concentrated at the second measurement compared with the first measurement. Moreover, the control group received a larger time difference on the test between the premier measurement and the second measurement. In summary, physical activity gave positive results but did not improve the examination group's average time on the test.
