Lärares upplevelser om sekularisering i religionsundervisningen : En studie om sekulariseringens upplevda påverkan i religionsundervisningen i den svenska gymnasieskolan

Sammanfattning: I have studied my research with the help of a qualitative method of data collection that I have analyzed with the phenomenographic approach; the purpose was to investigate how teachers experience the influence of secularization in religious education. The interviewed teachers perceive that the students previously had a reasonable knowledge of what Christianity was, but that this knowledge have disappeared because of secularization. This has caused complications in religious education for both students and teachers. Among other things is the absence of a religious identity the reason for a division between non-believers and believers, there is a greater relationship between the students who have a religious background than those who do not have a religious background. There is a greater interest in the teaching of Christianity today among pupils than it was earlier in the 1980-90 century because the secularization has made Christianity as exotic as other religions, students know as much about Christianity as other religions.
