   Sammanfattning : The aim of this study was to find an understanding of elderly care staff´s views on documentation requirement and documentation as a task and also to examine managers views on implementation of new tasks. We wanted to enter more deeply into the tension between the managers´ expectations, based on the set of goals made from politicians, and the response of this from the elderly care staff and what they considered possible in their daily work.
