  1. 1. Battery Degradation and Health Monitoring in Lithium-Ion Batteries: An Evaluation of Parameterization and Sensor Fusion Strategies

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för systemteknik

    Författare :Simon Saber; [2024]
    Nyckelord :model-based diagnostics; modellbaserad diagnostik;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this project was to perform model-based diagnosis on Li-ion batteries using real-world data and sensor fusion algorithms. The data used in this project was collected and distributed by NASA and mainly consists of voltage and current measurements collected on numerous batteries that were repeatedly charged and discharged from their beginning of life, and until surpassing their end of life. 2. 2. Scalable Nonparametric L1 Density Estimation via Sparse Subtree Partitioning

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Statistik, AI och data science

    Författare :Axel Sandstedt; [2023]
    Nyckelord :density estimation; scalable density estimation; nonparametric density estimation; scalable nonparametric density estimation; L1; L_1; anomaly detection; regression analysis;

    Sammanfattning : We consider the construction of multivariate histogram estimators for any density f seeking to minimize its L1 distance to the true underlying density using arbitrarily large sample sizes. Theory for such estimators exist and the early stages of distributed implementations are available. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Exploring Normalizing Flow Modifications for Improved Model Expressivity

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Marcel Juschak; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Normalizing Flows; Motion Synthesis; Invertible Neural Networks; Glow; MoGlow; Maximum Likelihood Estimation; Generative models; normaliserande flöden; rörelsesyntes; inverterbara neurala nätverk; Glow; MoGlow; maximum likelihood-skattning generativa modeller;

    Sammanfattning : Normalizing flows represent a class of generative models that exhibit a number of attractive properties, but do not always achieve state-of-the-art performance when it comes to perceived naturalness of generated samples. To improve the quality of generated samples, this thesis examines methods to enhance the expressivity of discrete-time normalizing flow models and thus their ability to capture different aspects of the data. 4. 4. A Framework to Model Bond Liquidity

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Matematik (Avd.)

    Författare :Alan Issa; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Bonds; liquidity; order book; stochastic process; stationarity; gamma distribution.; Obligationer; likviditet; orderbok; stokastisk process; stationaritet; gamma distribution.;

    Sammanfattning : The liquidity of financial assets can be studied in various different ways. In this thesis, liquidity is defined as the cost and time required to liquidate a position. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Simulating distributed PV electricity generation on a municipal level : Validating a model for simulating PV electricity generation and implementing it for estimating the aggregated PV generation in Knivsta Municipality

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Byggteknik och byggd miljö

    Författare :Lisa Molin; Sara Ericson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :photovoltaic generation model; model validation; artificial intelligence; machine learning; convolutional neural network; LIDAR;

    Sammanfattning :   The deployment of distributed photovoltaic (PV) is accelerating worldwide. Understanding when and where PV systems will generate electricity is valuable as it affects the power balance in the grids. One way of obtaining this information is simulating the PV power production of systems detected in Remotely Sensed Data (RSD). LÄS MER
