1. LBIC Measurements on Busbarless Crystalline Silicon Solar Cells
Kandidat-uppsats, Karlstads universitet/Institutionen för ingenjörsvetenskap och fysik (from 2013)Sammanfattning : The importance of further research in the field of solar cells is crucial for the transition to cleaner energy. The aim of this project is to design and manufacture a contact system that can measure busbarless solar cells with an LBIC-system. LÄS MER
2. Heteroleptic Copper (I) Complexes as Photosensitizers in Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för kemi, bioteknologi och hälsa (CBH)Sammanfattning : Modern civilization highly depends on energy and finding alternative sources to fossil fuels becomes more and more necessary. The sun is the most abundant energy source available and exploiting it efficiently would result in a great environmental and economic breakthrough. LÄS MER
3. Advanced rear contact design for CIGS solar cells
Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)Sammanfattning : The current trend concerning the thinning of solar cell devices is mainly motivated by economic aspects, such as the cost of the used rare-earth elements, and by the requirements of emergent technologies. The introduction of ultra-thin absorber layers results in a reduction of used materials and thus contributes to a more cost-effective and time-efficient production process. LÄS MER
4. Stacked Dual Narrowband Organic Near-Infrared Photodetectors
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Institutionen för fysik, kemi och biologiSammanfattning : Compared with the detector devices made of inorganic semiconductors, organic photodetectors are granted with additional strengths, such as flexibility, high scalability and bio-compatibility. However, in the family of organic optoelectronic devices, the detectors that are capable of detecting photons at two or multiple specific wavelengths are still missing. LÄS MER
5. Surface energy modification of metal oxide to enhance electron injection in light-emitting devices : charge balance in hybrid OLEDs and OLETs
Master-uppsats, Högskolan i Gävle/Avdelningen för elektronik, matematik och naturvetenskapSammanfattning : Organic semiconductors (OSCs) present an electron mobility lower by several orders of magnitude than the hole mobility, giving rise to an electron-hole charge imbalance in organic devices such as organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) and organic light-emitting transistors (OLETs). In this thesis project, I tried to achieve an efficient electron transport and injection properties in opto-electronic devices, using inorganic n-type metal oxides (MOs) instead of organic n-type materials and a polyethyleneimine ethoxylated (PEIE) thin layer as electron transport (ETLs) and injection layers (EILs), respectively.
