    Sammanfattning : Stark polarisering mellan vänster och höger längs den klassiska endimensionella ekonomiskpolitiska konfliktlinjen inom partisystem, är ett av alla de fenomen som gör att väljare upplever val som mer betydelsefulla och som i forskningen har en väldokumenterad positiv effekt valdeltagande.
