  1. 1. Epidotization as an Effect of Fluid Rock Interaction, Recorded by a Granitoid From Hågadalen, Uppsala

    Kandidat-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Mineralogi, petrologi och tektonik

    Författare :Linn Barreby; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Fluids; Fluid Transport; Metamorphism; Metasomatism; Saussuritization; Epidote Group; Geology; Bedrock; Fluider; Fluidtransport; Metamorfos; Metasomatism; Saussuritisering; Epidot Gruppen; Geologi; Berggrund;

    Sammanfattning : A common driving mechanism of metamorphic processes, from which secondary mineralizations and structures develop in a protolith, is known to be a change of the immediate P-T environment that a rock resides in. A factor in this process, which is poorly understood, however, is how the presence of metamorphic fluids in a system, influences the alteration of primary igneous rocks. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Mineralogical and Geochemical characterization of the Fe-Cu-Occurrence and associated Hanging wall and Footwall Alteration halo of the Viscaria D-Zone, Kiruna District, Northern Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Geovetenskap och miljöteknik

    Författare :Madelen Estholm; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Alteration halo;

    Sammanfattning : Northern Norrbotten County is one of the three major ore producing districts in Sweden. Based on the predominance of epigenetic Cu-Au and Fe-oxide mineralization this region is regarded as a typical IOCG province. The massive to layered Viscaria Cu-deposit is proposed to be a VMS deposit of Besshi-type and is unique in deposit type of the region. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Metamorphic Evolution of the Tjeliken Garnet-Phengite Gneiss, Northern Jämtland, Swedish Caledonides

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Barbro Andersson; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Seve Nappe Complex; Scandinavian Caledonides; high-pressure metamorphism; U Pb zircon geochronology; garnet-phengite gneiss; Seveskollan; skandinaviska Kaledoniderna; högtrycksmetamorfos; uran-bly datering; högtrycksgnejs;

    Sammanfattning : The Tjeliken Mountain in northern Jämtland, central Scandinavian Caledonides is by most authors considered to belong to the Lower Seve Nappe Complex (SNC). However, recently P-T conditions similar to the Middle Seve have been constrained for the eclogite at the top of the mountain, revitalizing the tectonic debate about Tjeliken. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Petrology and lithogeochemistry of the host rocks to the Nautanen Cu-Au deposit, Gällivare area, northern Sweden

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Geologiska institutionen

    Författare :Ian McGimpsey; [2010]
    Nyckelord :geography; geology; petrology; lithogeochemistry; Nautanen Cu-Au deposit; Gällivare; northern Sweden; Earth and Environmental Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The Nautanen Cu-Au deposit is located 75 km north of the Arctic circle, and 10 km northeast of the town of Gällivare in northern Sweden. Nautanen is just 8 km west of the giant Malmberget apatite-iron ore deposit and 15 km north of one of Europe’s largest copper producers, the Aitik Cu (Au) porphyry deposit. LÄS MER
