   Sammanfattning : The farmer Jean-Martin Fortier’s biointensive growing system is according to himself a growing system that is going to give equivalent to, or even more yield then the Swedish standard recommendation. When it comes to onions, Fortier claims that only by changing the plant arrangement, while keeping the plant densities the same for both systems the biointensive growing system is going to generate a higher yield with more onions meeting the commercial standard for ware onions.
