  1. 1. Missfärgningar av träfasader : En studie av tre områden i Gävle

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på grundnivå, Högskolan i Gävle/Energisystem och byggnadsteknik

    Författare :Moa Mattsson; Cordelia Sjöstrand; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Alger; missfärgningar; Gävle; fasad; fukt; biologisk påväxt; trä; småhus; enkät;

  2. 2. Arctic Loess as an Environmental Archive: Holocene Dust and Wildfire Record in West Greenland

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Lars Petter Hällberg; [2018]
    Nyckelord :aeolian dust; IRSL; luminescence dating; charcoal analysis; magnetic susceptibility; wildfire;

    Sammanfattning : The largest wildfire ever observed in Greenland raged through its tundra during august 2017, and it is unknown if there have been similar wildfires in the area before satellite monitoring began in 1999. Arctic wildfires affect permafrost degradation, carbon storage of soils and the surface albedo of the Greenland Ice sheet – despite this, local fires have previously been ignored by researchers. 3. 3. Size and Abundance of Late Pleistocene Reticulofenestrid Coccoliths from the Eastern Indian Ocean in Relation to Temperature and Aridity

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Jeroen van Dijk; [2017]
    Nyckelord :coccoliths; abundance; biometry; circular polarized light microscopy; Late Pleistocene; Marine Isotope Stage 11; kokkoliter; mängder; biometri; cirkulär polariserat ljus; pleistocen; Marine Isotope Stage 11;

    Sammanfattning : Measurements on coccolith abundance and mass can be used as a signal of primary productivity and pelagic calcification in response to environmental change. The Leeuwin Current (LC) is known to transport warm and low-salinity waters from the Indo-Pacific Warm Pool (IPWP) southwards along the coast of West Australia. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Crystallization and Emplacement of the Monte Amarelo Dikes: Magma Storage Assessment on Fogo, Cape Verde Islands

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för geovetenskaper

    Författare :Olle Risby; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Fogo; magma storage model; thermobarometry; clinopyroxene; intrusion landslide.; Fogo; magmalagringsdjup; termobarometri; klinopyroxen; intrusion; skred;

    Sammanfattning : The volcanic island of Fogo belongs to the Cape Verde archipelago, a two-tiered chain of islands situated 500 km west of the African coast. Fogo is regarded as one of the most active volcanoes in the world with 10 eruptions during the last 250 years. The former shield volcano Monte Amarelo reached 3500 m.a. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Palaeoglaciology of the central Tibetan Plateau

    Master-uppsats, Institutionen för naturgeografi och kvartärgeologi (INK)

    Författare :Björn Morén; [2010]
    Nyckelord :Palaeoglaciology; Tanggula Shan; Tibetan Plateau; glacial history; glacial geomorphology;

    Sammanfattning : The glacial history of the Tibetan Plateau has long been a contentious topic with widely different reconstructions. For Tanggula Shan, an extensive mountain range on the central Tibetan Plateau, multiple glacial reconstruc- tions and studies on the glacial chronology have been presented. LÄS MER
