  1. 6. Superconducting gates for InP HEMTs

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Tillämpad fysik

    Författare :Sebastian Alveteg; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Cryogenic electronics; HEMT; Superconductors; Applied Physics; Kryogenisk elektronik; HEMT; Supraledare; Tillämpad fysik;

    Sammanfattning : The thesis examines the prospects of using the superconductor NbN as the gatemetal for an InP HEMT. A HEMT or High Electron Mobility Transistor is aheterostructure transistor engineered to reach very high electron mobility. InPHEMTs are used as cryogenic Low Noise Amplifiers (LNAs), which have increasedin demand as quantum computing is scaling up. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Får jag vägra alkohol- och drogtester med hänsyn till min personliga integritet? - Arbetsrättsliga problem vid alkohol- och drogtestning på arbetsplatsen

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för handelsrätt

    Författare :Smilla Engdahl; Sara Kellheim; [2023]
    Nyckelord :alkohol; droger; tester; Europakonventionen; personlig integritet; Law and Political Science;

    Sammanfattning : En individs rätt till personlig integritet är grundlagsskyddad i ”Regeringsformen” (RF) 2:6 och konventionsskyddad i artikel 8 i Europakonventionen. Svensk lag reglerar däremot inte alkohol- och drogtestning. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Performance of 2-18 GHz RF Switches Implemented in Chip & Wire Technology : Analysis of switch topologies, bias networks and an in-depth EM analysis of bondwires

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Gustav Eliasson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :RF Switch; PIN diode; Chip Wire Technology; Wide Bandwidth; High isolation; Single-Pole-Single-Throw; Single-Pole-Double-Throw RF Switch; PIN diode; Chip Wire Technology; Wide Bandwidth; Single-Pole-SingleThrow; Single-Pole-Double-Throw; RF-omkopplare; PIN-diod; Chip Wire Tekonologi; Bredbandig; Hög isolation; Enkelpolig-enkakast; Enkelpolig-dubbelkast;

    Sammanfattning : The ability to control the path a signal takes through microwave circuitry is crucial when designing RF systems. The component that allows for the control of the signal path is called a switch, and it is the microwave component that this thesis will focus on. LÄS MER

  4. 9. Digital Front End Algorithms for Sub-Band Full Duplex

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för elektro- och informationsteknik

    Författare :Midhat Rizvi; Khaled Al-Khateeb; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Adjacent Channel Leakage Ratio; Bit Error Rate; Clipping and Filtering; Crest Factor Reduction; Digital front end; Digital Pre-Distortion Error Vector Magnitude; Frequency Division Duplex; Power Amplifier; Peak to Average Power Ratio; Peak Cancellation Crest Factor Reduction; Sub Band Full Duplex; Self-Interference Cancellation; Signal-to-Interference Noise Ratio; Signal-to-Noise Ratio; Turbo Clipping; Time Division Duplex; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Sub-band full duplex is a new communication scheme technology, where a single frequency band is partitioned into sub-bands for downlink (DL) and up-link(UL) transmissions, and both can take place simultaneously. The idea behind the sub-band full duplex development is to improve the throughput, and coverage and reduce the latency of the UL communication by allowing the UL reception during the DL transmission. 5. 10. Extending Wireless Power Transfer Range for Self-Powered Micro Devices with mm-size Antenna

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Elektroniska Kretsar och System

    Författare :Natachai Terawatsakul; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : The primary challenge in expanding the wireless power transfer range for miniaturized self-powered micro devices is the limited RF energy harvesting due to the small effective area and low gain of the mm-sized antennas used in these devices. This thesis introduces a method for extending the distance between an external energy source antenna (TX) and a micro-device antenna (RX) to more than 10 cm. LÄS MER
