  1. 1. A Deep Learning Approach to Brain Tracking of Sound

    Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Reglerteknik

    Författare :Oscar Hermansson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Cocktail party problem; AAD; GANs; CNN; FIR; Stimulus reconstruction; Locus of attention decoding; EEG;

    Sammanfattning : Objectives: Development of accurate auditory attention decoding (AAD) algorithms, capable of identifying the attended sound source from the speech evoked electroencephalography (EEG) responses, could lead to new solutions for hearing impaired listeners: neuro-steered hearing aids. Many of the existing AAD algorithms are either inaccurate or very slow. LÄS MER

  2. 2. OASIS OF CALM : A STUDY ON CREATING AN URBAN OASIS OF CALM INSPIRED BY NATURE

    Magister-uppsats, KTH/Ljusdesign

    Författare :Natvalun Tavepontakul; [2020]
    Nyckelord :Biophilia; Natural element; light pattern; motion; calmness; working environment;

    Sammanfattning : We live in daily cycles of brightness and darkness throughout our lives. Light is a device, both through natural and artificial sources, that supports the working of our brains in the processing, reconstruction, and classification of information (Galetta, 2014). LÄS MER

  3. 3. An Exploration of Temporal Context in the Recollection of Previously Encoded Events

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Institutionen för psykologi

    Författare :Madeleine McCallum; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Episodic memory; recollection; cued-recall; EEG; LPN; Social Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The effect of temporal context in the encoding and retrieval of facial stimuli was examined based on behavioural and EEG data collection during a cued recall memory task. Participants were found to have greater accuracy in their recollection of serial list items encoded before a correctly retrieved facial stimulus in comparison to those encoded after a correctly retrieved facial stimulus. 4. 4. Previously undiscovered neurons of the Bogong moth brain: 3D-reconstruction and registration

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Examensarbeten i molekylärbiologi

    Författare :Olle Claesson; [2016]
    Nyckelord :Biology and Life Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : The Australian Bogong moths are thought to have the ability to sense the earth’s magnetic field. This ability has to be reflected in the animal’s neural architecture. Hence reconstruction of three brain neurons was carried out, though these respond to visual stimulation instead of magnetic. LÄS MER

  5. 5. EEG enhancement for EEG source localization in brain-machine speller

    Master-uppsats, Blekinge Tekniska Högskola/Sektionen för ingenjörsvetenskap

    Författare :Parinaz Babaeeghazvini; [2013]
    Nyckelord :Brain-Computer interface BCI ; Brain-machine speller; Electroencephalogram EEG ; source localization; source reconstruction;

    Sammanfattning : A Brain-Computer Interface (BCI) is a system to communicate with external world through the brain activity. The brain activity is measured by Electro-Encephalography (EEG) and then processed by a BCI system. EEG source reconstruction could be a way to improve the accuracy of EEG classification in EEGbased brain–computer interface (BCI). LÄS MER
