    Sammanfattning : With physicists actively exploring Beyond the Standard Model (BSM) theories that may fill in the gaps of the Standard Model (SM), a fundamental question arises: which parameters hold physical significance? In this thesis, we present our initial progress towards the development of a model-independent artificial intelligence framework designed for conducting parameter space scans in BSM scenarios. Our framework incorporates several publicly available high-energy physics packages, namely SPheno, HiggsBounds, HiggsSignals, and CosmoTransitions. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The experimentally obtained value of the critical exponent ν is presently in significant disagreement with current theoretical predictions for the λ-universality class. We suggest two novel approaches of determining the exponents ν and η by utilizing the effects of finite size scaling. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents a study of hole mobility in amorphous polyethylene using kinetic Monte Carlo (KMC) methods together with a novel chain segmentation model developed by Unge and Nilsson, which determines hole localization sites based on torsion angles along the polymer chain. An extension to the KMC algorithm was developed which improves performance by modelinground-trips between strongly interconnected localization sites. LÄS MER
