  1. 16. A City By No-One

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, KTH/Arkitektur

    Författare :Oscar Hultén; [2023]
    Nyckelord :urban environment interactivity algorithm;

    Sammanfattning : This project is an exploration of methods for generating virtual urban environments, framed in an interactive first-person perspective allowing the user to navigate the architectural design space by walking through a city as it is being generated. The project is developed on a foundation of three primary concepts: 1) A spatial interpretation of parameter sets which are positioned in virtual space, 2) Distance-based interpolation of these parameter sets as a method to govern how the urban environments are generated at different points in space,3) The transformation and merging of basic square grids embedded in positioned parameter sets resulting in a composite grid which functions as the spatial framework of the urban environment. 3. 18. RNN-based Graph Neural Network for Credit Load Application leveraging Rejected Customer Cases

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Högskolan i Halmstad/Akademin för informationsteknologi

    Författare :Oskar Nilsson; Benjamin Lilje; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Machine Learning; Deep Learning; Reject Inference; GNN; GCN; Graph Neural Networks; RNN; Recursive Neural Network; LSTM; Semi-Supervised Learning; Encoding; Decoding; Feature Elimination;

    Sammanfattning : Machine learning plays a vital role in preventing financial losses within the banking industry, and still, a lot of state of the art and industry-standard approaches within the field neglect rejected customer information and the potential information that they hold to detect similar risk behavior.This thesis explores the possibility of including this information during training and utilizing transactional history through an LSTM to improve the detection of defaults. 4. 19. Exploring Controller-Free Locomotion Techniques in Dynamic VR Environments : A Comparative Analysis of Eye- and Hand-Based Teleportation

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :John Brink; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Virtual Reality; Locomotion; Eye Tracking; Hand Tracking; Teleportation; Virtuell Verklighet; Förflyttning; Ögonspårning; Handspårning; Teleportering;

    Sammanfattning : Locomotion in VR is still a topic of exploration, as different solutions serve different purposes. Teleportation is an established technique for moving in virtual environments larger than physical space, but one area that has not been thoroughly investigated is controller-free teleportation, where users are not limited by intermediary devices for movement control.
