  1. 21. Frequency Stability of Power Electronic Based Power System with 100% Renewable Energy.

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Abdullah Albalali; [2022]
    Nyckelord :energy storage; frequency control; synchronous generators; distributed power generation; virtual synchronous machine VSM ; PSCAD.; energilagringssystem; frekvenskontroll; synkrona generatorer; distribuerad kraftproduktion; virtuell synkron maskin; PSCAD.;

    Sammanfattning : The modern power system is aiming to progress away from conventional synchronous machine  based power generation towards converter dominated system that leads to extensively high penetration of renewable energy such as wind and PV. This transition of modern power system toward converter based renewable energy comes with new challenges as the conventional synchronous generation is being replaced by converter based power system (CBPS). 2. 22. Experiments of Federated Learning on Raspberry Pi Boards

    Kandidat-uppsats, KTH/Skolan för elektroteknik och datavetenskap (EECS)

    Författare :Simon Sondén; Farhad Madadzade; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Federated Learning; Raspberry Pi; FedAvg; Decentralized; Machine Learning; Convolutional Neural Network; PyTorch;

    Sammanfattning : In recent years, companies of all sizes have become increasingly dependent on customer user data and processing it using machine learning (ML) methods. These methods do, however, require the raw user data to be stored locally on a server or cloud service, raising privacy concerns. LÄS MER

  3. 23. Energy Efficient Communication Scheduling for IoT-based Waterbirds Monitoring: Decentralized Strategies

    Master-uppsats, Luleå tekniska universitet/Institutionen för system- och rymdteknik

    Författare :Otabek Sobirov; [2022]
    Nyckelord :TSCH; 6TiSCH; RPL; scheduling; energy consumption; COOJA; autonomous scheduling; distributed scheduling; reinforcement learning; RL-based scheduling; Q-Learning;

    Sammanfattning : Monitoring waterbirds have several benefits, including analyzing the number of endangered species, giving a reliable indication of public health, etc. Monitoring waterbirds in their habitat is a challenging task since the location is distant, and the collection of monitoring data requires large bandwidth. 4. 24. Occupancy detection and prediction with sensors and online machine learning : Case study of the Elmia exhibition building in Jönköping

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Byggvetenskap

    Författare :Allen Chen; [2022]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Buildings account for approximately 40% of energy consumption in the EU, and despite drastic increasing measures for energy efficient operation, the net value of energy consumption is expected to continue increasing because ofincreasing urbanization.While there has been increasing work done on managing external loads such as adapting to unpredictable climates, the research on internal loading, such as occupants, is still nascent. 5. 25. Precipitation behavior of the super austenitic stainless steel SANICRO® 35 and the effect on impact toughness and pitting corrosion resistance

    Master-uppsats, KTH/Materialvetenskap

    Författare :Shunyi Li; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Super austenitic stainless steel; solid phase transformation; TTT diagram; impact toughness; critical pitting temperature; TC PRISMA simulation; Superaustenitiskt rostfritt stål; fastfasomvandling; TTT-diagram; slaghållfasthet; kritisk punktfrätningstemperatur; TC PRISMA simulering;

    Sammanfattning : This research extended the knowledge of the solid phase transformation and the resulting influence on impact toughness and pitting corrosion resistance in super austenitic stainless steel (SASS) SANICRO® 35. A time-temperature-transformation diagram (TTT diagram) was assembled by performing isothermal heat treatments in the temperature range of 650-1050 °C for different periods of time, ranging from 5 min to 500 min.
