1. Geometrical Improvement of Fuel Nozzle Locations in the SGT-750 Gas Turbine : An investigation into fuel-air mixing in main channels 1 & 2
Master-uppsats, Linköpings universitet/Mekanisk värmeteori och strömningsläraSammanfattning : This study was conducted on SGT-750, which utilizes can type fourth generation DLE burner, developed at Siemens Energy AB, in Finspång, Sweden. The aim of this study is to obtain a flat fuel profile at the outlet of main channel 1 and main channel 2, demonstrating a proper mixing of fuel and air in the main channels leading to reducing local high-temperature points, and thus, reducing thermal NOx emissions. 2. Heavy-Duty Spark-Ignited Single Cylinder Engine Fueling System
3. Hydraulic Characterization of Diesel Engine Single-Hole Injectors
Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)Sammanfattning : Due to world trend on the emission regulations and greater demand of fuel economy, the research on advanced diesel injector designs is a key factor for the next generation diesel engines. For that reason, it is well established that understanding the effects of the nozzle geometry on the spray development, fuel-air mixing, combustion and pollutants formation is of crucial importance to achieve these goals. 4. Optisk undersökning av dieselsprayer från en höghastighetsroterande insprutare
Master-uppsats, KTH/Maskinkonstruktion (Inst.)Sammanfattning : There have been changes in Earth’s climate system on both global and regional scale since the pre-industrial era and some of these changes are due to human activities such as the combustion of fossil fuels. This calls for the development of engines with a higher efficiency and less harmful emissions. LÄS MER
