  1. 1. Deep Learning on a Microcontroller Unit in a Hand-Prosthesis Control Context

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknik

    Författare :Hannes Nilsson; [2021]
    Nyckelord :electromyography; deep learning; microcontroller; hand-prosthesis control; artificial neural network; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This master's thesis investigates in what capacity a typical hand-prosthesis classification ANN (Artificial Neural Network) can be deployed on a microcontroller unit. A working, implemented interface is presented along with extra scripts, applications and functions for easy training and testing. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Sensory Feedback in Prosthetic Arms

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknik

    Författare :Nibras Abir Ahad; [2019]
    Nyckelord :Prosthetic arms; Sensory Feedback; Arduino; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The sense of touch in our body is something that many of us take for granted. It is after all hard to imagine how we would move and utilize our arms and legs without any sensory feedback. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Investigating the use of multi-label classification methods for the purpose of classifying electromyographic signals

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknik

    Författare :Petter Björklund; [2018]
    Nyckelord :Biomedical engineering; Statistical classification; Prosthetics; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The type of pattern recognition methods used for controlling modern prosthetics, referred to here as single-label classification methods, restricts users to a small amount of movements. One prominent reason for this is that the accuracy of these classification methods decreases as the number of allowed movements is increased. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Development of a sensory feedback system in hand prostheses.

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknik

    Författare :Alexander Jordansson; Nima Haji Sheykhi; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Prosthetic hands; sensory feedback; Myoelectric control; Arduino; Ottobock; limb prostheses; Robots; PWM; Data transfer; Build circuit; RTC; Data logger; EMG; Bluetooth; I2C; FSR; Sleep mode; Interrupt; Baud rate; serial monitor; Serial interface; memory; EAGLE; LabVIEW; Master; Slave; Low pass filter; Power consumption; Transfer time; Calibration; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : This master thesis is about improvement, optimization and further development of the sensory feedback in a prosthetic hand previously investigated at the department of Biomedical Engineering in Lund. The first approach will be to investigate and further see into the need of a sensory feedback in hand prostheses. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Robust control of hand prosthesis using electromyography, accelerometers and gyros

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Avdelningen för Biomedicinsk teknik

    Författare :Viktor Löfving; [2017]
    Nyckelord :Prosthesis control; EMG; surface electrodes; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : The goals of this project are to investigate the viability of using the MyoTM armband developed by Thalmic labs as a tool for myoelectric control of a hand prosthesis as well as investigate whether the armbands ability to record its spatial position and orientation can be used to increase the performance of the prosthesis control program. Using the surface electrodes, gyroscopes and accelerometers of the MyoTM armband, a control system for myoelectric control of a hand prosthesis was created and tested on nine different users. LÄS MER
