  1. 1. Sensitive Detection of Blood Biomarker Pentraxin 3 – Development and Comparison of Amperometric and Capacitive Biosensors in Flow-Injection Systems

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Bioteknik; Lunds universitet/Bioteknik (master)

    Författare :Viktor Johansson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :Bioanalysis; Pentraxin 3; PTX3; FIA; Flow-injection analysis; Sepis; Electopolymerization; Self-assembling monolayer; Amperometry; Capacitance; Biotechnology; Medicine and Health Sciences; Biology and Life Sciences; Technology and Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Within clinical diagnostics there is always a need for innovative methods that are rapid, sensitive, and more accurate. In this study two bioanalytical systems have been evaluated for pentraxin 3 (PTX3) detection. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Surface Guided Helical Tomotherapy for Total Marrow Irradiation

    Master-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Sjukhusfysikerutbildningen

    Författare :Hedda Enocson; [2022]
    Nyckelord :Medicine and Health Sciences;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Total marrow irradiation (TMI) with helical tomotherapy treatment (HT-TMI) can be used as conditioning regimen for leukemia patients prior to stem cell transplantation by radiating the skeletal tissue. To ensure adequate dose coverage a margin is applied to the clinical target volume (CTV), i.e. planning target volume (PTV) margin. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Enhanced Butanol Production by Free and Immobilized Clostridium sp. Cells Using Butyric Acid as Co-Substrate

    Magister-uppsats, Högskolan i Borås/Institutionen Ingenjörshögskolan

    Författare :Laili Gholizadeh; [2010]
    Nyckelord :bio-butanol; acetone–butanol–ethanol abe ; abe-fermentation; butyric acid; clostridium; c. acetobutylicum atcc 824; c. beijerinckii ba 101; c. beijerinckii ncimb 8052; fibrous-bed bioreactor fbb ; batch; suspended cell culture; immobilized cell system; c. beijerinckii atcc 55025;

    Sammanfattning : Butanol production by four different Clostridium sp. strains was investigated using glucoseP2-medium supplemented with increasing concentrations of butyric acid, added as cosubstrate.Batch fermentations were carried out in serum bottles (freely-suspended cellcultures) and fibrous-bed bioreactor (FBB) with medium recirculation (immobilized cells).
