    Sammanfattning : Myotonic Dystrophy (MD) is an inherited neuromuscular disorder that leads to a wide range of clinical signs including stiffness, abnormal muscle relaxation, and muscle atrophy or hypertrophy. Detta bidrar till att individer homozygota för anlaget aborteras eller avlivas direkt efter fölning. Syndromet beror på en mutation som påverkar i kollagenproduktion, vilken nedärvs autosomalt recessivt. LÄS MER
