  1. 1. Process parameter optimisation for Waspaloy using Laser-Directed Energy Deposition with Powder

    Kandidat-uppsats, Högskolan Väst/Institutionen för ingenjörsvetenskap

    Författare :Johannes Lövhall; [2024]
    Nyckelord :Process parameter optimisation; Waspaloy; Laser-Directed Energy Deposition with Powder;

    Sammanfattning : Material utilisation is of importance in the manufacturing industry formaking the most of each material, minimising waste and increasing cost-effectiveness. In this thesis, samples of Waspaloy built with the method of L-DED-P has been analysed in order to investigate how process pa-rameters influence the build quality and geometrical accuracy in as-builtobjects. 2. 2. FRÅN VITT TILL GRÖNT, RÖTT ELLER BRUNT: Kan blindering åtgärdas med kunskap vi redan har?

    Kandidat-uppsats, Göteborgs universitet/Institutionen för kulturvård

    Författare :Annica Drotz; [2023-11-07]
    Nyckelord :blanching; oil paint; bloom; paint layer; accelerated aging; consolidation;

    Sammanfattning : Blanching is a common phenomenon affecting the binding medium within the paint, resulting in an abnormality of the paints light scattering. Multiple studies have confirmed that the change is the result of pore formation within the binding medium caused by humidity or water damage. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Image analysis of Light Optical Microscopy (LOM) images of metallurgical samples

    Master-uppsats, Uppsala universitet/Institutionen för informationsteknologi

    Författare :David Håkansson; [2023]
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Processing metals in different ways often requires stringent quality control to ensure the quality of the processed metal. This master's thesis aims to develop methods for evaluating the quality of metals via image analysis rather than inspecting images manually as it traditionally has been done. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Multiple-Emitter Super-resolution Imaging using the Alternating Descent Conditional Gradient Method

    Kandidat-uppsats, Lunds universitet/Beräkningsbiologi och biologisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation; Lunds universitet/Institutionen för astronomi och teoretisk fysik - Genomgår omorganisation

    Författare :Dolev Illouz; [2023]
    Nyckelord :super-resolution; alternating descent conditional gradient method; ADCG; multiple-emitter localization; nanoscale imaging; single molecule tracking; Physics and Astronomy;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis examines the state-of-the-art 2D super-resolution technique alternating descent conditional gradient (ADCG) method's ability to accurately localize fluorophores in diffraction-limited single molecule images (SMI) and analyze the impact of pre-processing and post-processing modules on ADCG's fluorophore localization. A synthetic dataset obtained from the 2013 Grand Challenge localization microscopy and a temporally linked dataset obtained from an unpublished set of Optical DNA mapping experiments performed by Jonathan Jeffet at the NanoBioPhotonix Lab at Tel-Aviv University were initially segmented to extract their noise parameters. 5. 5. Visualization, modeling and consequences of residual stresses in glass frit sealing of a UV light source

    Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå, Uppsala universitet/Mikrosystemteknik

    Författare :Vilma Hurtigh Grabe; [2023]
    Nyckelord :bonding; micro system; glass frit; sealing; finite element; modeling; glass; mikrosystem; sammanfogning; glasfog; fog; finita element; modellering; glas;

    Sammanfattning : PureFize Technologies AB develops and manufactures a broadband ultraviolet (UVC) light technology device that is mercury-free and based on nanotechnology, using the principle of field emission. The light source is made of Ti and glass, which are hermetically bonded, using a low-temperature glass frit, at elevated temperatures. LÄS MER
