   Sammanfattning : The development and establishment of agriculture in Northern Sweden has since long been believed to appear during the Late Iron Age, close to the Viking period, but recent finds from the Bronze Age in Umeå has opened up new discussion of when agriculture first emerged.    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents how a non-destructive method allows for analysis of archeological material, using three Neolithic anthropomorphic figurines attributed to the Pitted Ware Culture. Anthropomorphic figurines from this period are rare in Sweden and traditional destructive methods, such as thin section petrography is therefore not an option. LÄS MER
