Sammanfattning: Socioeconomic differences are a significant factor for health problems worldwide. Sev-eral studies have shown that people who are socially disadvantaged in society have less access to health care. They become sicker to a greater extent and die earlier than people living in more privileged social classes. The gap between those who have access to health care is becoming more noticeable, even though we now live in a society with more developed global prosperity. This paper intends to study the health status of Roma in Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have studied their situation from a socioeconomic per-spective to see how it affects their health. Several studies have shown that there is a correlation between low socioeconomic status and poor health, especially for marginal-ized groups in the society. Although this status is not proclaimed in the Convention on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights extended commentary, General Comment No. 14.
