Sammanfattning: The aim of the present study was to investigate the implementation of psychoeducation (Skills) delivered to a large group of participants that had a relationship to a child with ADHD. The study used data from multiple actors involved in the implementation; participants, the lecturers and the organization. The study used both qualitative and quantitative methods and is therefore a Mixed Methods study. The qualitative analysis aimed to shed light on the experiences of the lecturers and participants. 93 participants answered the qualitative survey questions and 3 lecturers participated in semi-structured interviews. The quantitative analysis aimed to investigate whether there were significant differences, in terms of self-rated satisfaction, between groups of participants. Data from 106 participants were analyzed using two independent samples t-tests. The quantitative results found no significant difference between primary caregivers and relatives. There was a significant difference between participants from different rounds of Skills. Participant responses and interviews with course leaders were analyzed using Thematic Analysis, which resulted in three main themes for each analysis with various sub-themes. All in all, the results indicate that there are challenges related to the intersection of different actors in clinical practice. Participant responses suggest that several factors affect the experience of Skills, which is described as valuable by some but not all participants.
