En hållbar resa mot framtiden; En jämförelsestudie mellan snabba landtransporter på sträckan Oslo – Stockholm

Detta är en Uppsats för yrkesexamina på avancerad nivå från Lunds universitet/Trafik och väg

Sammanfattning: The purpose of this master thesis is to analyze possible traffic arrangements for high-speed land transportation; high-speed train, MagLev and Hyperloop by concretizing their relationship to each other on Oslo-Stockholm line. The thesis also aims to find out how high-speed land transportation links to the sustainability goals. This thesis studies two different scenarios, where the first scenario includes stops at intermediate stations and the second scenario concerns a direct journey between Oslo and Stockholm. Both scenarios are based on that all types of traffic have the same conditions. The calculations include runtime calculations, capacity calculations and calculation of the increased travel demand due to shorter travel time. In a scatter plot, it can be observed that the relationship between the capacity of railway infrastructure and the speed of the transport system is approximately linear. This means that it is possible to choose the capacity that meets the travel demands and thus determine the speed of the transport system. Similarly, it is possible to choose the suitable system based on maximum hours' travel demand.
