We explore the aspects of cognition, emotion, and motivation, offering a nuanced exploration of how task structures and educational environments impact these students. Employing an Activity and Action-Based framework, the study engages with a blend of observational and interview methodologies. This approach provides an in-depth understanding of how students with reading and writing difficulties interact with and perceive various educational tasks, particularly those with a heavy reliance on text. The insights gleaned from this research are significant, offering valuable guidance for tailoring educational strategies and technological tools to more effectively meet the needs of students with reading and writing difficulties in the increasingly important fields of programming and web development.
